Dymo Label Maker: Service manuals or information on older Dymo Labelers like 1500 series

I have an older 1500 series labeler - and it makes wonderfully retro labels, but lately it jams and gets stuck so the letters aren't spaced correctly.

This is an older embossing labeler - so I know its a bit odd to ask here :) - its kind of a mechanical marvel - but I'm having the worst time finding any service documentation for them.

Brother PT-210: Brother PT-D210 Won’t Turn On After Inserting New Batteries

Hi everyone,

I just got a Brother PT-D210 label maker, and I’m having trouble getting it to work. I installed a fresh set of AA batteries (6 in total), but the machine either won’t turn on at all or only powers on for a second before shutting off.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

Used brand new alkaline batteries (tried different brands too)
Checked the battery compartment for any dirt or corrosion – it looks clean
Made sure all batteries were installed in the correct direction
Pressed and held the power button firmly

I haven’t tried using a power adapter yet since I don’t have the original one. I’m wondering if a 9V 1.6A adapter with center-positive polarity would work as a replacement.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any suggestions or fixes I could try? I’d really appreciate your help!

Dymo LabelManager 280: Keeps saying jammed tape but the tape isn't jammed. Just bought this.

I try to print a label and it gives me the error for label jam. Removed the tape, pulled it up a little, made sure there's no obstructions and still no luck.

Brother PT-90 Personal Labeler: How can I fix a paper jam in my label maker?

As I was trying to print a label, no paper was coming out. It appears that the paper roll became jammed as it was trying to print. I can see that there is still paper inside but it isn't printing. How can I fix that?

Brother PT-1290: The Keyboard keys gets stuck while typing, what to do?

While typing the word, the keys get stuck and more than one letter appears on the LCD screen, so it makes it difficult to finish the label because I have to go back and delete the misspelled words.

I have one dymo discpainter that seems to have a mechanical problem - makes an odd noise but fails to move the print head. And another one that seems to only print greens and blues. Any ideas?

Dymo LabelManager 160: No charge no ink

My dymo keeps flashing low battery sign but I just changed the batteries also I have it plugged into the wall charger I believe this is also causing it to not print probably everything works like it should except there is no writing on the labels once they print out.

My dymo label manager is stuck on the screen that you use to change the font and size. I've changed the batteries and tried plugging it in but it wont do anything except switch off and on but it just returns to the same screen. Is the a factory reset I can do?

Dymo Label Maker: Dymo MobileLabeller chews every cartridge

Today I tried to use my Dymo ML 193C to print with a genuine Dymo nylon cartridge. Instead of the label coming out of the end, it got drawn up into the feeder roller and wound round and round. After multiple retries, repairing the cartridge multiple times and trying another cartridge with the standard tape, I’m finding the same thing happens every time now. I did find a little sticky-backed foam strip, which I guess came off the machine during the first incident, but it’s not clear where it goes or how this could make the difference.

Here’s a picture from immediately after a jam, with the foam strip included above the “D1”.

DYMO LabelWriter 450: Label scratched when printed

Hello I need a repair on my dymo labelwriter 4xl. When the label prints it comes out crooked, torn and scratched. I’ve opened the front part and can see there is a piece where he label is put through and comes out that, that part is part of the feeder and it’s bent and tearing . Is there a replacement part for this?

Dymo Label Maker: Issue with Dymo 550 Printing from Goodwillshops on Microsoft Edge

My Dymo 550 printer is not printing from Goodwillshops when using Microsoft Edge. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the related applications and restarted the computer. Is there an additional step I might be missing? For example, should the printer be unplugged during the firmware installation and only reconnected after the installation and system restart?

Dymo Label Maker: Can a Dymo LetraTag LCD be replaced?

Going through my late wife's things, I found a LetraTag label printer. The signage doesn't say which model, but it looks like a LetraTag 80.

I put in batteries and gave it a try, and.. after lord knows how many years, it works perfectly, except for the LCD, which displays only scattered pixels.

I'm afraid I know the answer to this question, but... is there any practical way to replace the LCD? The device would be useful, and I hate to throw it out because just one component is failing.
