Ciao a tutti,

ho un problema troppo strano col mio ultrabook. L'ho già aperto 20 volte e non ne esco più.

Praticamente la tastiera ha smesso di funzionare di punto in bianco, ma la cosa strana è che non è la tastiera il problema.

Se scollego la flat della batteria e accendo il PC con solo l'alimentazione collegata, la tastiera funziona benissimo. Se attacco la flat della batteria smette di funzionare. Sia con PSU collegata che senza.

Insomma l'unico modo per veder funzionare la tastiera è quello di tenere il pc collegato all'alimentazione MA tenere la batteria scollegata.

Non capendo quale fosse il problema ho comprato tastiera nuova e batteria nuova, stessi seriali, prese su ebay da negozio tedesco (articoli nuovi in stock, non seconda mano!) infatti erano ben confezionati e ancora impellicolati, perfetti.

Con la batteria nuova, il PC ha funzionato per un giorno intero anche senza alimentazione collegata.
Il giorno dopo di nuovo, la tastiera smette di funzionare.

Quindi sono punto a capo, Ovvero, con la batteria collegata, la tastiera non vuole sentirne.
Se stacco la batteria e accendo il PC con solo l'alimentazione, la tastiera va perfettamente.

The HP is this: Spectre x360 13-v102nl

The old battery worked fine. The old keyboard too. the situation is the same with both the old and the new parts. That is, the keyboard works only if I unplug the flat battery cable and power the PC with the power supply.

I wanted to change the battery because I thought it was faulty and it was she who didn't make the keyboard work. But even with the new battery connected the keyboard doesn't work. (Neither the old nor the new keyboard.)

Il PC si avvia solo con alimentatore AC connesso e SE disconnetto la batteria completamente. Il PC non Ha una Batteria CMOS.

Ho provato una nuova batteria originale HP ma non cambia nulla.

DOpo aver spento il PC, se stacco l’alimentazione, al riavvio da errore CMOS Checksum 502 e premendo ENTER si riavvia normalmente.

Hello Community,

I’m looking for a replacement battery for my HP Spectre, which I believe is the 15-inch model. At the moment, the laptop still works fine without a battery because the old one is no longer working.

Unfortunately, the battery is not available in the I fix it store, so I wanted to ask whether anyone could recommend a trustworthy seller where I could purchase a replacement battery.

Please find attached a picture of the original battery that came with the HP Spectre.

HP Spectre X360 13-aw0xxx Repair: Laptop screen is black/red tint but touch screen is working.

My laptop screen suddenly stays black when turning it on. Sometimes I can see some boot text and HP logo with red tint before it just dissapeared. There is no visible physical damage to the screen. I have plugged it into a monitor and everything is working and it detected both internal and external screen. The touch function on the screen also working. Should I order a new screen? There doesn't appear to be a backlight for the screen either. Is there any way to see if the display cable is loose without removing the screen?

Does anybody know the correct case screw replacements for a HP Spectre x360 13-4003dx? The originals are (seemingly) three different sizes and two are as close to stripped as they can be while still being functional.

My HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15 (eb1043dx, if that helps) turns on, but the screen remains totally black. When plugged into external monitors via both HDMI and USB-C cables, those monitors display without problem, and the touchscreen functionality on the laptop monitor still functions, it is just the visual display element which is non-functional. Laptop keyboard lights up, functions correctly. Laptop hardware doesn't demonstrate any other performance issues outside the black screen. How to fix, if at all possible?

Hi everyone,

I’ve had my HP Spectre x360 15-bl012dx for nearly 10 years and am still very happy with it. However, a few weeks ago, it stopped charging. I suspect it might be the main battery and possibly the CMOS battery as well, since all the BIOS settings reset when I unplug the laptop.

Unfortunately, I’m having trouble finding a replacement. The battery isn’t listed on iFixit, and while I’ve found some options on Amazon, I’m hesitant to order one. Often, the images don’t match the battery model (HP KB06XL), or the specifications in the description don’t align.

My questions:

Does anyone know if a different battery model would be compatible?
Can anyone recommend a reliable online store where I can purchase this specific model?
