Compaq Presario CQ60: Notebook presario cq60 107EL Uscita HDMI non funzionante

Dopo 2 anni che non collego il mio notebook alla tv ho riscontrato questo problema.

Ho aggiornato la scheda grafica (NVIDIA GFORCE 8200M) alla più recente, ho sostituito più di un cavo, anche se quando lo inserisco il pc emette il suono di riconoscimento. In pannello di controllo-Audio- viene rilevato la mia TV e si nota anche il level audio che si sposta quando vado in play con un filmato. Nel pannello di Nvidia, il mio Panasonic TV, viene rilevato come secondo schermo , ma resta nero. Cosa mi sfugge?

Ciao a tutti, un amico mi ha lasciato il suo compaq CQ58 per dargli uno sguardo; se vado a premere il tasto di avvio il pc non dà segnali di vita. Ho provato con diversi trasformatori quindi non penso che il problema sia quello.

My laptop turns on, and I can see the light on the keyboard and power button, but the screen is black. I tried taking out my battery and holding the power button and put the charger. It didn't work.

A glass of water was knocked over spilling on to my laptop (Compaq Presario cq62) keyboard. well I turned it upside down so the water could spill out then I turned it on to see if it worked and it did BUT when I was trying to type in my password some buttons wouldn't type and some would, well when I tried to delete it wouldn't delete instead the delete button would add a letter each time pushed. So I took the battery out n turned it upside down and it stayed like that over night, well now we tryd using it but it wont turn on at all even if the charger was plugged in to it ,the laptop wont even turn on make any noise or lightup . what should I do or dos anyone know what could be the main problem!

when i wake up in the morning my Compaq Presario is very slow i have to wait 5 minutes just for a program to open up it has been doing this for a long time i used the hardware diagnostic included in the computer everything checks out fine but i want to know how to fix it being very slow i did a clean install of windows vista with the recovery discs that i made when i got the computer it was fine and a month later it began slow again/ i use disk cleanup and disc defragmenter then i restart and it is still slow i have no idea what to do i hope someone can help me i dont think i have any viruses i use microsoft security essentials but i dont know if it works i might have a virus and security essentials might not be powerful enough to detect it but i just want to fix the slowness on it should i recover my system to factory defaults and see what happens

Compaq Presario CQ57: Computer will turn on, screen won't.

My computer will turn on, and it'll give me a couple seconds to go to the start up menu, but beyond that the computer screen stays blank. When I try the options on the start up menu it will just turn the computer screen blank. I've tried the removing battery and holding the power button. But that hasn't changed anything. I don't have the material to connect to another screen, let alone know how to do so.

My friend thinks it has something to do with a virus. I gave her my computer to try to fix and she said she found 9 trojans and several other minor viruses. It's a used computer and I can't afford a new one.

Any help is appreciated.

Compaq Presario CQ57: How do you switch WIFI on/off

I have the wifi keyboard light showing red, ie wifi is off. I have tried to switch it on from Windows 10 settings to no avail. I cannot find an external switch (but have never switched it off deliberately).

Is there some key combination needed?

I have removed and re-inserted the wifi module, but no success.
