Is there a way to update either the device SW or the internal modem SW to restore connectivity?

Or a way to give it access to my WiFi so that it can "Phone Home"? ResMed says that I should ask my provider. But why should a respiratory therapist or doctor know that? ResMed should provide this support (or update) to their device.

It is only accessible after disassembly and once removing the air pump. mine is old and covered in calcium which i am cleaning now but would like to replace as it makes whistling noises while im sleeping which wakes me up every night! It is harshly thunking off mid sleep. Wakes me up.

Also, doesn't start up promptly. Takes multiple really deep breaths to get it on.

I presume there is a sensor going bad or needs cleaning.

4 years 10 month old machine used daily. No repairs of any sort to date. Got it new.
