Apple Watch Series 2: LCD screen won’t turn on after replacing with new one.

I cracked the screen on my Apple Watch Series 2. Half of the screen worked fine, but the other side, separated by the crack, would not. I bought a replacement screen from iFixit. The replacing process was next to painless, but when everything was all put back together, the screen will not show anything. The watch will make noises and vibrate like it is on, but no display. I disassembled and reassembled and the results were the same. The old screen will no longer turn on either. Any ideas on what the issue might be?

Apple Watch Series 3: Series 3 guts into an 1st gen Apple Watch case possible?

I have both an 1st gen Apple Watch and a series 3. My 1st gen is stainless, sapphire and ceramic, and want to swap the guts of my Series 3 into my 1st gen. Is this possible?

Update (02/17/2018)

Thank you everyone. I guess I should’ve expanded a bit more on my reasoning why I feel “value” on my question.

I forked out Benjamins on a step up from the lower tier aluminum, ion, composite option. I got my Series 3 as a raffle, and comparing the two, it feels as if the new came out of a Cracker Jacks box, and feels cheap, compared to the kick ass feeling of stainless, sapphire and ceramic back.

There is the “value” I personally see seeking advice, or suggestions. I guess, I could also just sell both, and just fork out the difference.

First-world problems are a darn thing nowadays. Thanks all.

Apple Watch Series 1: Apple Watch Series 1 unresponsive with new replacement screen

Hello everyone.

I have recently bought a replacement LCD for my broken Apple Watch Series 1.

The package arrived today, and after installing the new LCD, I noticed, that the Apple Logo appeared when starting up the device. After it has finished booting, it went to the watchface, but after that I wasn't able to interact with the watch anymore. The touch doesnt work, and any buttons dont seem to do anything as well. Only charging it, or force restarting it would make the screen show something again. The touch function does work on the old, broken LCD.

I am now wondering whether Apple has any kind of detection against fake LCD's or not, as this LCD came from China. I am not able to find any original LCDs anywhere, therefore I was forced to buy one from there.

I have been waiting several months for it to arrive, only to find out it does not work in the end.

Is there any way to fix this, or will I have to pay double the price over at the apple store (if they are even willing to repair it)?

I am honestly out of ideas, and I just want to get my watch back in working order.

Does anyone have an Idea on what to do?

Jeans: How can I remove extremely dry oil based house paint from fabric

So about several months ago I was painting my nieces room while I occupied their room my mother decided to take them to do some clothes shopping. Not completely thinking it over I left all the painting supplies in their rooms to finish up the project the following day. Since they wouldn't be sleeping in their rooms until paint was completely dry. Long story shorten, the following day I notice everything had been moved around. So as I start to clean before starting I realize everything was in odd places to cover up spilled paint throughout the carpet. It even happen to generously get on 2 pair's of their brand new jeans a black pair of skinnies and a dark pair of blue jeans. Knowing there just has to be a day to remove the oil based paint I refused to trash them what can i do.
