Patagonia Bottoms: Best way to replace the elastic waistband in Patagonia Baggies shorts?

I have a pair of green Patagonia baggies that are about 10 years old — they’re super comfy, totally functional, and still look fantastic. Unfortunately, the elastic waistband is completely shot, so the drawstring is the only thing keeping them up. I’m not ready to retire them yet, so is it possible to replace the elastic in that waistband?

Apple Watch Series 2: Digital Crown no longer works

My Apple Watch 2 started to act funny, it would launch siri and scroll between apps all by itself.

It was acting as if the digital crown was being pressed in and rotated.

I tried the usual cleaning methods as per the apple website but without any luck.

It does rotate freely and doesn't feel sticky at all, and although it does these things it is completely unresponsive.

I have to use the the side button to navigate my way round the watch the best I can.

Does anyone have any Ideas?

Many Thanks

Garmin Fenix 3 HR: How to repair heart rate sensor?

Hi guys!

My heart rate sensor is all cracked and about to fall apart. Is there any advise on repairing this part of the watch?

I've read that the glass part of it is a kind of resin based stuff. Won't be easy to fix I guess.

Many thanks in advance!

After powering them on and looking through the settings and everywhere else, we were unable to find the application to turn Bluetooth on or off. Does anyone know a way to get these enabled or added back onto the watch without having to get a new one shipped over from China? I will attach photos of all the applications we can see.

Apple Watch Series 2: Watch boot loops, gets hot when charging

Hi, so I bought an Apple Watch that was deemed broken. The person I bought it from, told me that Apple told them it needed a new battery and that it would cost her 200 to repair it since it was out of warranty. The watch will get hot when it is charging, and eventually will show an Apple Logo, then shuts back off. Do you think it’s really a battery issue? Would it be worth the time to buy and put in a new battery, or do you think it’s an unfixable issue? What leads me to believe it really is a battery issue, is how long it takes for the watch to actually start the boot loop. Leaving me to believe that the battery isn’t supplying sufficient power to the watch.

Update (01/07/2020)

So actually, turns out it does the same thing after a battery replacement. I have no idea what could be wrong.

Garmin Fenix 3: Can I replace a malfunctioning weather sensor?

Hi, I have this unpleasant situation with my Fenix 3 w/ OS 8.9, which I’ve bought just 3 years ago: suddenly , I can’t get temp, pressure or altitude readings, just a dash or nothing in return. Trying to calibrate the altitude manually will result in a ‘calibration failed’ message. The GPS method returns the altitude from sats but can’t set it either (same fail message).

So, GPS, compass and everything else are working just fine, all except this all-in-one ‘weather’ sensor - for temp&airpressure - that comes solded on the chasis, separated from the motherboard and connected through 3 pins.

Outside cleaning/rinsing of the sensor inlet ports and factory defaults didn’t solve anything.

As warranty expired and Garmin policy exclude service (allegedly), is there any way to fix this? :)

Thank you
