I dropped my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, screen did not break, however it was purple on the top and know it has bleed thru more. Do I have to have the LCD replace?

I wonder if you have an opinion about the speaker issue and the XDA mod with the Nexus 5? One of the features you take for granted in a phone is its sound quality. Everybody oohs and aahs about screen size and processor speed, but a seemingly insignificant and overlooked component, such as a speaker, can ruin a device. Do you think a software update can fix this, or should I consider the XDA mod. It looks simple enough.

A week ago I accidentally dropped my phone in my kitchen sink. My phone was soaked and I immediately dried it off and put it in a bag of rice. I've left it for the past week and it seems dry now. I tried to turn on the phone, but it still doesn't power on. Is there any way to know if the phone is permanently damaged from the water?

I have a motorola droid that still recieves calls but the screen is completely black so even though i hear text messages comming in i cannot see them. cant do a reset or anything due to nothing shows on the screen..what can be done?

HTC One X: My HTC One X screen has just gone blank...

My HTC One X was working perfectly fine but then suddenly the screen went black. I tried connecting it to the charger but the red charging light wouldn't come on. I also tried ringing the phone but nothing happened. I tried holding the power button for about 15 seconds, still no response. The final thing I tried was to connect it to the computer to see if the computer would detect the device however the computer didn't. I don't know what else to do, HELP?!?

HTC One M8: Phone won't charge, charge slot burned

The other day charging my phone, my phone charger ended up burning my charging chip inside my HTC M8. The phone still works but when attempting to turn it on, the phone just keeps showing it is at 0% even with multiple different tries using different chargers. Looking inside the charging slot you can clearly see the chip is toasted. Is this replaceable and or fixable? I rather fix it, even if it's by someone else than to buy an entire new phone.

Samsung Galaxy S III: Galaxy S3 EMMC problem?

Hi everyone,

a friend has given me a Galaxy S3 saying it's not working.

1) I tried to boot it and I get a "white rain" effect. I have seen some people on the internet have this problem too, and it's because of the EMMC chip.

2) When I boot it in download mode I get the screen you can see in the image.

What is the better option?

Should I sell it (the phone is in excellent conditions) or replace the motherboard (the cost looks high on eBay)?

Do you know anyone who could repair the EMMC chip for cheap?

Samsung Galaxy S4: Samsung Support Can't fix my phone due to corrosion/water damage

Hey, now i dropped my Galaxy S4 in water with a case and screen protector attached for about 5 seconds. Almost immediately i took out the battery and put the phone and battery in uncooked rice for about a week. I contacted samsung because after a week, the phone would turn on, however there would be no display on the screen, the buttons on either side of the home button light up as well. If i connect the phone to my pc, it acts just the way it did before the accident. I send the phone to samsung as it was under 1 year warranty and they send the phone back saying Corrosion/Liquid Damage. What should I do now?
