Try inserting a 16GB DDR4-2400 sodimm memory module in the memory slot, thereby getting 20GB of memory in total.
Looking online seems to show that others have successfully run the laptop on 20GB of memory i.e. 4GB+16GB but not on 36GB i.e 4GB+32GB

Best that I can find out is that the laptop supports a maximum of 4TB (4000GB) M.2 2280 NVME SSD .
