I know this is years later but I found one of these cameras 📷 from the Thrift store and fixed this issue. For some reason the battery looses contact with the camera on this model and it turns on and off frequency.
***What I did:*** I got electrical tape and layered it on top of each other and placed it on the inside of the flap to where you insert the battery 🔋 and cut off the excess so the flap can close properly. The electrical tape should put more pressure on the battery and prevent it from disconnecting. If the OP doesn't see this I hope it can help someone else.
