The suction tool supplied with the replacement screen protector was not up to the job. Too small. I bought a 40mm "phone screen repair sucker" from Ebay (seller is beautfuilyer) for £2.92. It came all the way from, you've guessed it, China! So if you're in the USA, better get in quick before Donald brings in his trade tariffs, otherwise you'll be paying £5.84. Wooohooo!
PS. I used the adapter on the hairdryer nozzle to better direct the hot air to the edges of the screen. You have to keep at it though. Also, the plastic tool that came with the kit is neither strong enough nor thin enough to get under the edge of the protector screen. I used a small screwdriver.
Hope this helps - assuming you've not already sorted the problem. BTW, the misting on the inside of the protector screen was just that, and it wiped off quite easily. So store your camera with a couple of bags of silica!!!
