Spanish speaking Furby Champagne

I have a Champagne Spanish speaking Furby.  I saw the wires leading from the reset button to the battery posts needed to be resoldered and I was able to do that, but then something weird happened.  It speaks fine, but won't move.  I have no idea if another wire that's for movement has detached somewhere.  I so hope someone can help me with this issue.  Thank you
