# Click "Browse my computer for driver software"
# Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer"

Next connect your headphone and let us know if you have clear audio or the same crackles etc. If it sounds good then the issue will be more likely with your speakers (yes, it could be the audio amp circuitry, but most likely are the speakers.
Here is the [document|33035] Page 43 shows how to replace the speakers.speakers are still around. Lots of used ones on ebay as well as [https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805322891855.html?src=google&aff_fcid=7c5617dd9bfa4f79a05371ead787b660-1706919941772-03121-UneMJZVf&aff_fsk=UneMJZVf&aff_platform=aaf&sk=UneMJZVf&aff_trace_key=7c5617dd9bfa4f79a05371ead787b660-1706919941772-03121-UneMJZVf&terminal_id=fb4ed0558d5d4973a372ff84b6b26a04&afSmartRedirect=y&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa4itemAdapt|on here] example only, not an endorsement
While you work on your computer, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. It's easy and fun to create these guides. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.
