I was dealing with a 3-battery model.
The 2nd and 3rd batteries were stuck.
This keyboard had been sitting around for years.
# For the 2nd stuck battery, gently screw in a skinny drywall screw and pull out by the attached screw with pliers. This is pretty straightforward.
-# For a deeper 3rd battery, drill a guide hole with a skinny drill bit, and then punch in with a long-throw router/harpoon bit (flat with a sharp tip); forces the battery to twist and haul out easily.
+# For a deeper 3rd battery, drill a guide hole with a skinny drill bit, and then punch in with a long-throw router/harpoon bit (flat with a sharp tip); forces the battery to twist and haul out easily. If you find a 4"+ long drywall screw this would also probably work per #1 above but I didn't have such a long drywall screw around.
I don't think there is a need to mess with WD-40 or vinegar.
