There isn't a lot to the individual keys on a ChromeBook, and it's fairly straight-forward to check. Follow the Key Replacement guide and pull off the keycap, then check the hinge mechanism and the four metal tabs that secure it to the palmrest.

If any of the metal tabs are broken, the only cure is to replace the entire keyboard assembly, but if the hinge mechanism is broken, you can buy individual replacements at several laptop key dealers online. You'll get the rubber cup underneath, the hinge and the key itself. Here's one example.
