My wireless charging coil got damaged at the connection point with the motherboard. I was just about ready to give up and dispose the phone since I couldn't charge it anyway then a random encounter with a phone repair tech revealed that there's a workaround. Apparently they solder a single diode on the wireless charging coil terminal and that's it. Problem solved. Sure I won't be using the wireless charging but at least I'll be able to charge the phone without any issues.

So I had the exact same issue (Note 10+) but to make it worse, my wireless charging coil got damaged at the connection point with the motherboard. I was just about ready to give up and dispose the phone in spare parts since I couldn't charge it anyway then a random encounter with a phone repair tech revealed that there's a hardware workaround. Apparently they solder a single diode on the wireless charging coil terminal and that's it. Problem solved. Sure I won't be using the wireless charging forever but at least I'll be able to charge the phone conventionally without any issues.

If you didn't notice, even the camera flash doesn't work with a faulty wireless assembly. This diode fixes all that. Don't know how, not going to ask how so don't ask me how. It simply works.

Hope this helps.
