The issue with diagnosing issues with modern motherboards is that there are a lot of components that can break, and if you don't have the board level schematics, then you'll hard time getting anything done. Start by looking for the schematics and then go from there.

In addition, look for any signs of spills or liquid damage, or impact damage that could cause pins to be bent out of place.
