I had a similar problem, my DS4 wasn't turning on, even though it was charging normally.[br]

when I opened it I found that the (I think it is called) Ribbon Circuit Board ( a thin layer with many connection lines ) was broken on the like that connects the PS button, I order a new one online and replaced it and it worked perfectly.
