Use a deep leaf net to get everything you can out. Then brush your pool thoroughly,  and vacuum it thoroughly. Backflush your filter until water is coming out clean. Then resume normal filtration, shock your pool, and once chlorine levels have returned to normal you can get the rest of the chemistry in line. Clean ALL baskets! Skimmer and pump.
