M Audio Axiom 25 - Attempted repair, need some guidance

Testo:

I have been attempting what began as a simple USB port replacement on both of my MIDI controllers. One is an M-Audio Axiom 25, and the other is an Oxygen 49. The Axiom is from circa 2009, and the Oxygen is the fairly recent MK-IV model. Since this was my first attempt at soldering pcb components, I seem to have gotten a bit heavy-handed and knocked off what I believe are some SMD capacitors and maybe a resistor. Professional that I am, I immediately lost these parts, but some of their neighbors remain. I need some guidance as to the best way to move forward with this, and possibly tips on how to identify/ measure tiny smd components, so that I can hopefully fix the original issue. My fear is that in trying to fix the USB issue, I may have run into a new issue or two. I have enclosed some pictures, can provide more details and pictures if needed. Thank you in advance for your help!
