Sim card reader needs to be repaired/replaced as it is bent

I thought I could do this purchasing item on Amazon and tutorials here and on You Tube but the top portion of the SIM card reader is now bent and an IT novice I know said it looks like I damaged the pins and it has to be soldered. My IT guy, my boyfriend, died and I don’t know what to do or what type of place to take this to…and not charge me an arm and a leg…
