The whole handle mechanism BROKE

Testo:

The handle on the outside is completely locked up. Tried WD40 to lubricate the actual latch, but that didn’t do anything. We were driving along the road when the latch just stopped working. The window just fell through the door as well. This all happened at the same time when we tried locking door while we were on our way out of the parking lot. Please help
