Remove the logic board, remove the touch ID button and the touchbar cable is secured with two T4 screws. Use slow heat to dissolve the touchbar adhesive and pry it out carefully. It is securely glued to the top case and very easy to break. Since there are many continued to insist the touchbar cannot replace other than the whole topcase, I will just say this is how I removed the touch bar and it tool a while to finish with lots of back and forth checking.
