I have a Note 3 tmobile version with a cracked screen. I have another of the same model with no issues. I bought a screen and when it did not work, I tried placing the motherboard of the broken phone with the working one. It would not boot. But, the working phone’s board is fine with the broken screen. The broken screen lights up, but has no touch. So, I am trying to get it to work for data recovery purposes. Any ideas? Are there slight variations within the same model?
