Yes the screen (glass) itself can be replaces seperate from the phones frame, digitizer, etc...
BUT, you can spend the $17 or so for the glass and run into what I have saw commented on that no glue is included with the screen only kits and risk breaking the glass through this intensive repair. Or get an entire OEM LCD + digitizer in its frame starting at $37 on aliexpress.com or like mine $45 @ Ebay.
Repair here locally (Atlanta, GA) quoted me $100-$120 over 3 seperate repair quotes so @ $45 I'm in by less than 1/2 price of paying for repair and still less than 1/2 replacing this phone with another like model!!!
