All you have to do is charge your cellphone over 50% or till full, on ZTE cellphone it has an internal command that automatically disables the flash until late it's at or near full power. Mine was at 12% when I was unable to use the flash. When battery was charge at 50% it started working again. Keep in mind that flashlight apps can still light the flash because they operate I dependently from the phone.
