My PS3 controller will not turn on at all?

Testo:

My PS3 controller wont turn on - no red flashing lights - no response to being charged or reset. Also, when the controller used to work, I accidentally hit it -''' not hard''' - against my fan and then it sounded like something was broken inside of it.
