the new environmentaly friendly,leadfree, solder that is being used in these it the major problem here.  it has a higher melting point but it is more brittle than the leaded solder. Generally you will lose the wifi first then expirence screen/video problems next.  There are three ways to fix it. 1 Reflow the solder 2. replace the motherboard. 3. Reball(replace the solder) the chipsets.  method 1. is cheap, but will ultimately fail, 2. is more expensive but refurbed/used/new boards all have the same leadfree solder and 3. Reballing is the best fix but very few people do them. check out for more info. FYI I have no affiliation with them but I have firsthand experience with the repair quality that they provide.
