i have iphone 6 which was water damaged by rain, it was minor one, and it worked fine after replacing battery. few days ago while updating it to ios 9.3.1 it got stuck in recovery mode and itunes gives error 53. is there any chance that i could fix it???

Update, so i was able to fix that problem and phone is booting fine, but now its not getting any reception, just shows searching or no service, it is not showing imei when i dial *#06.
