Have you tried disconnecting the battery, holding the power button for 30 seconds to dissipate any residual power in the tablet, then reconnecting the battery and seeing if it starts normally.

Here is a link that shows how to replace the battery. It is useful as it shows how to open the tablet. It also shows the battery connector (with the red and blue wires) and how to remove it from the socket at 5:00 minutes into the video. The battery connector seems to be able to be accessed quite easily and as you are not replacing the battery, it should be able to be disconnected/reconnected without having to remove other cables, components or screws, except for a piece of tape, shown at 2:51 minutes into the video.
