Soldering skills of medium level will be required and a good iron with small tip. I would not advise anyone who does not have those skills to attempt repair unless you don't mind F@i& up the whole board.

Soldering skills of medium level will be required and a good iron with small tip (silver bearing (preferred) solder with good non acid flux as well). I would not advise anyone who does not have those skills to attempt repair unless you don't mind F@i& up the whole board. The ribbon can be bought online but it does require soldering.
