red blinking notification light

Hi, my phone was turned on by itself after I replace the screen. It was on for a while and showing 'optimising app' but it went dead half way.

It is showing red blinking notification light when I connect it to the charger. But the battery charging icon is still not showing after about 8hrs of charging like other forum suggested.

Anyone here experienced the same before?
