I've seen this problem twice in the past two days. My fix was to put the old screen that was working back into the ipod. If it's not working try to soft reset. Once working then restore the ipod with itunes. after the restore is completed put the new screen back into the ipod and if it comes up with a white screen again try another soft reset and it should work. If you can't get your ipod to turn back on with the old screen then I don't know what else to tell ya. Hope this helps!
