According to the schematic, those spaces on the motherboard are actually empty. See attached schematic and image.

So, your board actually looks the way it shouldshould, component wise, but it needs some cleaning;-) use some isopropyl alcohol and a soft toothbrush for that. Hope this helps, good luck.
