This guide will help you replace the main brushes on the iRobot Roomba e5. Before you use this guide, clean your brushes to make sure that debris was not causing the problem. If your brushes still don't work, then they will need to be replaced.

Flip the Roomba upside down.

Release the lock on the brushes using the green tab.
Lift the lock up from the end of the brushes.

Remove both of the brushes.
When reassembling the brushes, make sure to insert the long end first.
The two long ends each have a different shape. One end is a square and one end is a rectangle.
You may have to rotate the brushes while inserting so that they snap into place.
