If the device does turn on, it may not be able to hold a charge for long periods of time or it may even shut down suddenly. Another sign that the battery is faulty is that the laptop is overheating; this is because the battery is working harder than usual, which can cause it to heat up.
Be sure to purchase the compatible battery replacement for this laptop, which is a Li-Polymer battery with the following specs: 3560mAh, 53Wh, 4 Cell. In addition, make sure the device is powered off and unplugged from its power adapter before starting to prevent damage to the device as well as to prevent the risk of electric shock.

Use the Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove seventeen 2.5mm screws.
