Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the back cover, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the back cover is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the back cover with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom left corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Inserisci un plettro di apertura

Fissa un manico a ventosa sul bordo inferiore della cover posteriore, il più vicino possibile al bordo.

Se la cover posteriore è crepata, il manico a ventosa potrebbe non aderire. Prova sollevandolo con del nastro adesivo resistente o incollando la ventosa con della supercolla e lasciandola asciugare per poter procedere.

Solleva la cover posteriore con la ventosa per creare un piccolo spazio tra la cover posteriore e la cornice.

Se hai difficoltà a creare uno spazio, applica più calore per ammorbidire ulteriormente l'adesivo. Segui le istruzioni dell'iOpener per evitare il surriscaldamento.

Inserisci un plettro di apertura nello spazio che hai creato.

Fai scorrere il plettro di apertura verso l'angolo in basso a sinistra per tagliare l'adesivo.

Lascia il plettro di apertura in posizione per evitare che l'adesivo si riattacchi.
