Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Steek een openingsplectrum in de opening

Druk een zuignap op de onderkant van de glazen achterkant, zo dicht mogelijk bij de rand van het toestel.

Als je glazen achterkant gebarsten is, kan het zijn dat je zuignap zich niet vast kan zuigen. Probeer de achterkant in dat geval op te tillen met een stuk sterke tapeof lijm je zuignap met secondelijm op de achterkant vast.

Til de glazen achterkant met de zuignap omhoog om zo een kleine opening tussen de achterste behuizing en het frame van de telefoon te creëren.

Als je moeite hebt met het creëren van een opening, gebruik je meer warmte om de lijm verder te verzwakken. Volg de instructies van de iOpener om de oververhitting van je toestel te voorkomen.

Steek een openingsplectrum in de zojuist gecreëerde opening.

Schuif je plectrum naar de rechter benedenhoek om de lijm door te snijden.

Laat je plectrum in de hoek bij de rechter benedenhoek zitten om te voorkomen dat de lijm zich opnieuw aan het toestel gaat hechten.
