Insert an opening pick

  • Secure a suction handle to the bottom edge of the rear glass, as close to the edge as possible.

  • If the rear glass is cracked, the suction handle may not stick. Try lifting it with strong tape, or superglue the suction handle in place and allow it to cure so you can proceed.

  • Lift the rear glass with the suction handle to create a small gap between the back cover and the frame.

  • If you have trouble creating a gap, apply more heat to further soften the adhesive. Follow the iOpener instructions to avoid overheating.

  • Insert an opening pick into the gap you created.

  • Slide the opening pick to the bottom right corner to slice the adhesive.

  • Leave the opening pick in place to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

Inserisci un plettro di apertura

Fissa una ventosa sul bordo inferiore del vetro posteriore, il più vicino possibile al bordo.

Se il vetro posteriore è crepato, la ventosa potrebbe non attaccarsi. Prova ad alzarlo con un nastro adesivo molto potente, o incolla la ventosa in posizione con la supercolla e lasciala asciugare prima di poter procedere.

Alza il vetro posteriore con una ventosa per creare una fessura tra la parte posteriore e la cornice.

Se hai difficoltà a creare una fessura, applica più calore per ammorbidire ulteriormente l'adesivo. Segui le istruzioni dell’iOpener per evitare il surriscaldamento.

Inserisci un plettro di apertura nella fessura che hai creato.

Fai scorrere il plettro di apertura nell'angolo in basso a destra per tagliare l'adesivo.

Lascia il plettro di apertura in posizione per evitare che l'adesivo si richiuda.
