Ci vogliono due mani per rimuovere la massiccia scheda madre. Con la cavità per la RAM aperta sotto l'iMac, cerca di spingere la scheda madre verso l'alto (verso la fotocamera iSight) con il pollice,per favorire il rilascio della scheda madre.
