The C928 Capacitor 100uF 25v is the one talked about in the forum mentioned in the intro.

While I was checking the solder side of the board I noticed there was a bad solder joint on this cap. You cant see it at this resolution though.

While checking the state of the other caps on the board I noticed that this one 1000uF 10v was also showing signs of heat stress.

Both capacitors were replaced.

You can see the new caps in position on the right.

For the princely sum AU $1.20 in parts, 20 mins setting up, 5 mins to fix, 5 mins to put it all away I have saved myself aprox $200 for a new VOIP router :)
