Introduzione
-
Salta i prossimi tre passi.
-
-
-
-
Una vite da 1,5 mm
-
Due viti da 2,3 mm
Attempted this repair and my touch screen completely stopped working. Great walkthrough, but not sure what I did wrong in the repair to cause my issue.
Hi I've had exactly the same problem, what was your solution to this? would be very helpful!

I had the same issue. My screen quit working and I could feel heat coming through my phone at the earpiece. I took the phone apart again and realized that the data cable for the screen had come loose. When I reattached the data cable and starting working steps 12-18 backwards to replace the shield, as noted in the very last step, I see that youhave to keep the screen at an inclinewhen replacing the shield over the cables. Otherwise, you stretch the display data cable and it can come loose. My screen works fine now and there is no heat coming from my earpiece.
Just completed this repair. My front facing microphone next to the ear piece had gone bad causing siri to not hear me and front facing videos had no sound. Definitely reccomend getting replacement parts from ifixit. Have had good experiences with all their parts unlike many other suppliers on the internet. Hate to admit it (don't want them to raise prices) but even though you pay a little bit more, you save frustration not getting DOA parts from cheaper sources. All of ifixit's parts are top quality and they even pack them in anti-static packaging. That says alot. Thanks ifixit!
Great instructions save the later steps. The ear speaker piece having to bend 180 degrees for the installation needs more clarification.

The middle screw, listed as a 2.3mm was actually a 2.9mm in my iPhone 6 Plus

Dropped my iphone and the speaker stopped working.
Expected that it was a connector that was lose.
Used this guide to fix it.... Thanks :)
My son was chewing on my phone and the speaker was real quiet afterwards. I purchased your product above and installed but nothing changed. Not sure what else it could be, don't want to purchase a 100$ display only to have that not fix the issue either. And of course since I've already opened it Apple sent it back to me :D
After dropping my iPhone from the car, the speaker stopped working. Thankfully using this guide I was able to reseat the connector and all was good again. Make sure the four cable are attached properly to the board when reassembling as I had to take the protective covers back off again and reseat them.
Overall I feel confident that I would be able to do it again.
On a separate note I would highly recommend a decent precision set to carry out any repairs on these small devices. The screws are tiny and magnetised tools are a must.
Thanks iFixit!
phone worse off, smh, well i did as it said, i even bought all the tools from them that i needed, now my phone stuck on apple logo, did reset holding power and home button, went back in disconnected reconnect display connection and power cycled disconnecting battery connector, and still stuck on apple logo. followed everything, was careful, dont know if i went wrong, or what
UPDATE: so the charging port didnt get fixed, took it to a cell phone place , he said its charging IC got messed up, whatever that means, took to best buy they said to get apple to fix i since i opened up, they would charge me another 40$ on top of fee to fix, and fee to fix would cost almost as much as phone. took to apple traded in broken phone towards new one, they didn't realize it wasnt working, it turns on screen works fine, just took forever to turn on and the port doesn't recognize any connection, they gave me 185$ towards new one, so all in all i probably should have just learned to just use the speaker or headphones smh. hope others had better luck
