[* black] Use a spudger to pry up the fan connector out of its socket on the logic board.
[* icon_note] It is useful to twist the spudger axially from beneath the fan cable wires to release the connector.
[* icon_caution] The fan socket and the fan connector can be seen in the second2. and third3. pictures. Be careful not to breakDo NOT pull on the plastic fanwires. Insert the spudger behind/under the wires. The socket off the logic board asis very fragily soldered, so make sure you use your spudger toONLY lift the plastic fan connector straight up and out of its socket. The layout ofconnector, leaving the socket on the logic board shown in the second pictureboard. Layout may look slightly different thanvary from your machineboard, but the fan socket and connector is the same.
