[title] Cleaning the printhead
[* black] Pour some of the hot water into your bowl, and let the printhead sit. You should leave this for a little bit, to allow the water to dissolve as much ink as possible. As the water gets dark or cools dark, change the water. Once the water is reasonably clear, remove the printhead and let the printhead dry. ***Note: Distilled water is recommended.***
-[* icon_note] As the head clears and you change water, the color of the water should get progressively lighter. If it does not do this quickly, the head is heavily clogged with ink. A small paintbrush with intact bristles will likely help you clear the clog if this is the case. For really hard to clean clogs, a ultrasonic cleaner may help, if you own one.

[* icon_note] Maximum recommended water circulation times: ***With alcohol: ~10 minutes maximum***. ***Without alcohol: ~15 minutes maximum***.
[* icon_caution] Alcohol should only be used as a last resort. This can damage the seals on the printhead, if it isn't sufficiently purged from the printhead. ***To purge any alcohol used, run the head through hot water at least 3 times.***
