[* black] Back to the bottom of the phone is another very small board almost like a piece of metal tape. ItsIt's held down by a small screw. Remove the screwscrew, and peel up the piece impiece. I'm 99% sure itsit's strictly for grounding purposespurposes, but none the less is still importantimportant.
[* black] TIP: when having to pry up circuit orcircuit, logic boards or small pieces like this itsit's best to start where a screw was removedremoved, because often the area is reinforced and protectedprotected.
[* black] You should now have just the screen assembly. I didntdidn't remove the LCD or digitzerdigitizer, because it dosnt seem like they are meant to be taken out and the same parts be put back indoesn't se. I've found separateseparate, and full screen assemblies on the webweb, but IveI've also read LG is making it quite affordable to repair the screen by sending it to themthem.
[* black] As always heres a look at it allall.
[* black] For reassembly start from the very last stepstep, and go back in order. REMEMBER fellow fixiteersfixtures either repair or recyclerecycle.
[* icon_note] Removing the screen requires a heat gungun, and a spudger. Follow the glass to where it meets the bezel and pry gently (start where the glass broke or along a long edge where there's <2mm adhesive strips); relative to other phones the G2 screen comes out relatively easily, but glued screen removal is potentially phone-destroying - be careful!
