Step by step instructions on properly removing and replacing the built in keyboard

Passo 1 Keyboard  ¶ 

Locate and remove the 3 screws holding the keyboard in place from underneath the laptop.

Locate and remove the four retaining clips from the edge of the keyboard. To remove pry up gently on the outside edge of the plastic clip. Once the clip pops up pull it straight out. At this point the back of the keyboard should come up a bit. You may need to use a thin tool to pull it up, but in my case I only needed my hands. Once you have the back of the keyboard propped up as shown pull the keyboard gently towards the screen to remove. Be careful not to pull completely out because there are still connectors attached to it. At this point the back of the keyboard should come up a bit.
