iPad Mini CDMA Rear Facing Camera Replacement

Replace the Rear Facing Camera in your iPad Mini CDMA.

Use this guide to replace the rear facing camera.

Passo 1 Rear Facing Camera  ¶ 

Use a plastic opening tool to pry the top right antenna ribbon cable connector up out of its socket on the logic board. Gently bend the cable out of the way of the rear-facing camera. Gently bend the cable out of the way of the rear-facing camera.

  • Use a plastic opening tool to pry the top right antenna ribbon cable connector up out of its socket on the logic board.

  • Gently bend the cable out of the way of the rear-facing camera.

Passo 2  ¶ 

Pry the rear-facing camera connector up out of its socket in the logic board. Pry the rear-facing camera connector up out of its socket in the logic board.

  • Pry the rear-facing camera connector up out of its socket in the logic board.

Passo 3  ¶ 

Straighten the rear-facing camera ribbon cable to expose the camera housing. Straighten the rear-facing camera ribbon cable to expose the camera housing.

  • Straighten the rear-facing camera ribbon cable to expose the camera housing.

Passo 4  ¶ 

Insert the edge of a plastic opening tool into the crack beneath the metal bezel on the rear-facing camera. Gently pry the camera and bezel up from the rear case. Gently pry the camera and bezel up from the rear case.

  • Insert the edge of a plastic opening tool into the crack beneath the metal bezel on the rear-facing camera.

  • Gently pry the camera and bezel up from the rear case.

Passo 5  ¶ 

Remove the rear-facing camera from the iPad. Remove the rear-facing camera from the iPad.

  • Remove the rear-facing camera from the iPad.
