Acer Aspire 6530-6522 Hard Drive Replacement

Use this guide to remove the hard drive of your Acer Aspire 6530-6522 in order to replace it.

This guide will show you how to remove the hard drive. You will need to do this if your hard drive is damaged or faulty and you have a new one, or if you are upgrading to larger one.

Passo 1 Hard Drive  ¶ 

Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver remove the nine 7mm screws in the bottom panel. Lift and remove the panel. Lift and remove the panel.

  • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver remove the nine 7mm screws in the bottom panel.

  • Lift and remove the panel.

Passo 2  ¶ 

Grasp the attached tab and pull towards the back of the device. Lift the front end of the hard drive up. Use a plastic opening tool if necessary.

Passo 3  ¶ 

Lift the hard drive with its casing free of the device and place on a clean surface. Using the Phillips #1  screwdriver, remove the four 3.5mm screws in the corners of the casing.

  • Lift the hard drive with its casing free of the device and place on a clean surface.

Passo 4  ¶ 

Lift the casing off the hard drive. Lift the casing off the hard drive.
