This guide will show the user how to replace the power and volume buttons that are not currently working on your device. We have ranked this repair as easy in difficulty and we estimate that it will take about 5 minutes to complete. The only tool that is needed is a plastic opening tool in order to remove the plastic back of the device.

First, use a plastic opening tool in order to slowly pry across the crevasse on the side of the device. This plastic back of the device will un-click during this process and you will remove the back piece.

Using your fingers, firmly grasp either the power button or the volume buttons and remove them, releasing the clasps that hold the buttons into place.

Now, using your fingers replace the buttons that you have removed in the previous step with the new functioning buttons. Enter the button in at an angle and press it into place, clicking it into the open slot. To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
