    • Remove the ten 7mm Phillips screws located on the bottom of the laptop using the J1S screwdriver.

    • Insert a plastic opening tool and follow the edges to open the panel.

    • Remove the three 3.5mm Phillips screws indicated in the picture.

    • Remove the 3mm Phillips screw holding the HDD in place, then slide the HDD towards the sticker.

    • Insert a plastic opening tool in between the panel and the main assembly.

    • Work your way around the laptop to remove the base plate.

    • Gently pull out the two pin connector.
