Ridgid Brushless R86040 Guard Replacement

With this guide, you will be able to remove, replace, and/or change the position of the guard on your Ridgid Brushless R86040. You should replace the guard anytime it becomes bent or damaged as this is a safety hazard. Users may also wish to rotate the guard to its various positions for different cutting and grinding angles. Before you begin, make sure the power is off, the battery is not attached to the device, and the cutting blade has been removed.

    • Identify the silver lever behind by where the guard and blade are located.
